We have now enrolled five of our older gymnasts into The Young Leaders Academy which is a British Gymnastics initiative, designed for young people to help them gain the necessary skills required to develop as a leader within gymnastics. It is also a great opportunity for gymnasts to help to inspire some of our younger gymnasts to achieve and learn in a fun and friendly environment.
Our Young Leaders Team Captain is Ruby Stannard who has been with us since she was 5 years old, along with Connie Cripps, Lacey Lowin and Olivia Dyble. Our newset addition, Kelsey Jones-Warman has recently joined our Young Leaders and helps out with Friday classes. All the girls have shown great promise and are great role models within the club. We have found that not only do the children benefit from the Young Leaders help & support within the club but we have seen tremendous growth in our Young Leaders confidence in taking on this new responsibility.
